Old Kent River 2018 displays classic aromas of black cherries, ripe raspberries and forest floor. The
palate reveals maraschino cherries, shitake mushrooms and preserved strawberries with lots of
concentration and intensity. Maturation for 12 months in larger Burgundian oak provides subtle
spice and toast and a velvety structure that contributes to a lovely lingering finish. A true example of
the terroir where these vineyards were nurtured by both Mark and Deb for many years. Their
passion and dedication will be dearly missed.
